The short and sweet of this is: I felt I needed more cartoon-style and newer works to put in my portfolio (since I need a job T_T And money, now that my shiney almost-new wacom crapped out on me the day before yesterday....just one month after the guarantee ended...T_T).

The long story of who these characters are (other than invented almost on the fly)....it's too silly to talk about in detail. Basically Scooter Pirates and Subway Ninjas (with their graffiti jutsu and all that...) are rival gangs in a sort post-apoc city. It's a tale of young love, shuriken, evil businessmen, peg-legged dogs and runaway baroness' daughters! Stay tuned (actually....don't)

From the left: The pirates' dog...bear...thing. They're not sure what it is, but it's cute! The lead ninja disciple, he and the pirate captain discover their hormones in a Romeo-Juliet deal. The Captain, and scooter. The Baroness' daughter, who runs away to join the pirates. The Baroness. The Evil Businessman (because a good businessman is just not as fun!). The second-in-command on the ninja side. The crazy ninja monkey, every story needs one. The peaceful ninja. The goofball pirate who only has eyes for the bitchy ninja princess on the end of the row. He likes her, but her true love is the peaceful ninja. I've actually given them all names, lol... XD
