Style test for a thingby ~Lelenia

This is a thing... that I want to make into something (a comic)... someday (when I have time? when I finish FW? when pigs fly?).

Usually I don't like posting isolated stuff like this when I know I won't talk about it again for months or years, but this has been sitting on my harddrive for a while, and I figure that by the time I have a project to speak of this concept piece for it will be so old I won't want to look at it, so I might as well post it while it's still fresh!

What I can say is: I had a lot of fun making it, a hard time deciding the level of saturation and the end product (if there ever is one) will no doubt look nothing like this!

This is beautiful and intruiging. I have always loved how distinctive your characters are from one another. The lowered saturation of the whole piece gives it a kind of old-look that I like.

Hope that this idea grows and you eventually make it into a comic. From reading Fey Winds I know you are a good story teller as well as artist.
