More style testing for that Thing... I listened to a lot of music and let it be weird and nonsensical, and I like how it came out! Still settling on a style, but it's really nice to have ideas for something that isn't my main project... now I just have to make sure I make this into something concrete before the inspiration dries up XD

Thanks! This is all photoshop. I used watercolor brushes (made by Ditlev, you can find them on CGHub) for the brushstrokes, some photos textures from CG Textures (the windows on the far left building mostly) and I have a huge page of inkwash on watercolor paper scanned that I use to make it look like it's on paper when it's actually all digital. :)

(I wish I could watercolor properly though, it wouldn't feel like a trick!)

I am SO CURIOUS. I love Feywinds, but now I'm hooked on this mystery thing as well. Really like the color scheme on this pic too. :)

I love this piece.
The colour-scheme, the composition and the atmosphere it conveys - I like it all. (I'm a sucker for malevolent water-creatures. I'm assuming they are hostile ...? If I'm wrong, I apologize. Anyhow, I'd like to know more about them.)

And I love the way you draw people. Or elves-people-persons. Or fox-people. Or ... yeah. XD

Bottom line: I hope your inspiration doesn't dry up soon. xD Looking forward to more. :> :heart:

Thanks! I'm glad you like it! I'm not worried that my inspiration in general will dry up, but since I already have Fey Winds as my main timesink, I haven't ever really managed to make a backburner project come together without having an impact on FW (which is why I don't usually post them at all). Most of the time I end up hitting a block and gradually moving on to something else, but this time I hope I'll be able to make something of it! :D
